| Looking at the Chan
Poker table, the first thing you notice is the nice, clean layout. The
cards are big and clear, and the buttons are easy to get used to. The
buttons you see on this screenshot aren't the ones that appear when action
is to you. Those buttons are much bigger and bright orange. Table options
are available from the lobby. We'd prefer they were accessible from the
table itself, but not a big deal. There are a few interesting options,
for example there is a function that allows folded cards to stay showing,
allowing you to follow the action after folding. Also, there is a mini-table
view that is much easier to view than versions from most other rooms.
Also, as you can see, when a player (or players) are all-in, it shows
the player win percentage, and it changes automatically from flop to turn
to river. When players fold, call, or raise, there are bubbles next to
the player which indicate this for you, making it simple to follow the
action. Along with that, the sound effects do a good job of enhancing
the game play, instead of being distracting or obnoxious. Nice note taking
abilities, and a very nice statistics option are available as well. Players
can create custom statistics files right from the lobby. |
