Some
$5/10 NL Hold'em action, very little in FL games. Occasionally a bit
of Omaha, nothing else. |
Same
network as PokerHost, same review. PokerHost gets #9 because they have
a bigger bonus. |
Fairly
well rounded. Decent action up to $5/10 NL & $30/60 FL Hold'em.
A little $5/10 FL/PL in other games. |
Higher
limits at UB make the difference. Good $10/20 NL & $30/60 FL Hold'em
action. Weak in other games. |
A
slight nod above BodogLife. Some $10/25 NL Hold'em action. $10/20 FL
Hold'em is decent. Weak in the rest. |
Well
rounded, decent action in all games. PLO action up to $25/50. Hold'em
up to $30/60 FL & $10/20 NL. |
Possibly
#1 in high stakes Omaha & Stud games. Decent in Hold'em, but not
as strong as FTP and Party. |
Possibly
#1 in high stakes FL Hold'em. Some Omaha, weak in the rest. $5/10 NL
is strong, less above that. |
| This category is primarily ranked based on the overall number of high stakes players. Strength in hold'em is most important, but being well rounded matters too. Looseness is not generally a factor, as any table at any room can be loose or tight. Party Poker is still strong, mostly in limit hold'em. Pokerstars is well rounded, lots of action in non-hold'em games as well. If you live in the US and are looking for good high stakes games, Pokerstars is your place. Titan Poker has also done a great job of attracting high stakes poker players. |

| Obviously, trying to tell you how to win at high stakes poker in 200 words or less isn't gonna cut it. For those of you looking to improve your high stakes poker games, we will however mention a couple of good resources for you to try. Our first recommendation is the Micon System from online pro's Bryan Micon and Brett 'Gank' Jungblut. Their system has developed into a well proven 'formula' for winning more money, more often. Their website is a bit cheesy in design, but there's no denying that the content of the system is golden for serious players. Bryan and Brett get in depth with the topics of sit and go's, high stakes poker ring games, and tournament play. If you check it out, just remember that the website uses the 'sell the sizzle, not the steak' approach. The content of the Micon System is all steak, and players at all levels should be able to make substantial improvements to their game after using it. Also, they offer an 8 week, no questions asked, 100% guarantee that it will dramatically improve your game - or your money back. So, there's nothing to lose if you try it. We're currently testing out 2 other high stakes strategy 'systems'. If either of them turn out to be any good we'll post the info here. If not, we'll keep looking. |
