The Ultimate Bet
lobby has gone through a major overhaul since UB was bought out by Absolute
Poker a while back. The best way to describe the changes is - SO much
better!
First, the graphics
have been improved, as well as the layout. Everything is easier to find,
and their are more features now. They have also added new blackjack
games, roshambo, and a 'Bad Beat Jackpot' that has already been over
$230,000 in it's first couple of weeks. Ultimate Bet has also added
the 'Ultimate Buddy' which is a stand alone window which tracks when
your friends are playing. If someone is playing, simply click on their
name and you'll get taken straight to their seat.
On the ring game
lobby, they show the average pot size, players to the flop, and hands
per hour. Low-stakes players will like Ultimate Bet Poker since the
stakes start at $.01/$.02 in both no-limit and even limit games! It's
also a better way for new players to learn than by playing for play
chips. The game is still pretty bad at these levels, but better than
